I woke up on Saturday with the sun streaming in through my white wooden blinds. I love knowing that Spring is finally upon us and one of my favourite things about Spring is being able to wear sunglasses and actually having some sun to protect your eyes from! My mood instantly improves and I feel inspired to go outside and take pictures of London as it looks so beautiful lit by the sun.
This weekend I took a trip to Whole Foods Market in Kensington High Street and had lunch with my family. I you haven’t tried their salad bar/ hot food bar – you are seriously missing out and you need to take yourself there right now! We then took a stroll through the back roads of Kensington where we stumbled upon stunning roads which were lined with trees, blossoming with beautiful pink flowers which are shown off perfectly against the typical Kensington backdrop of stone white buildings. It was simply breathtaking!
Although the sun was shining, the temperature was around 12 degrees Celsius, and windy! I wore my light coloured faux fur jacket which I know will keep me warm, but also pays a little bit of a homage to spring by being a light colour. I wore an embroidered top, to incorporate some of this seasons trends into the look, and my ballet flats which tone well with my fur jacket and also my black Sac De Jour handbag and Burgundy Celine sunglasses. I wore my hair in a French plait, as London was rather windy (left over from Storm Stella!) and a light layer of my favourite Dior makeup and Dior Addict Lipstick.
